755RB helps to integrate Clipsal smoke alarms with devices like lights & sirens. This functionality is offered through a changeover, voltage free contact and remote test/hush through momentary pushbuttons. Relay can be configured to operate only when the local alarm is activated or when any connected alarm activates.

hide showBoth the 755PSMA2 and 755RLPSMA2 smoke alarms have a ‘Global / Local’ switch located on them (see the diagram below). This switch is only used for operation with the 755RB
relay mounting base.
• When the ‘Global / Local’ switch is set to ‘Local’, only activation of the physically connected alarm will cause the relay to operate.
• When the ‘Global / Local’ switch is set to ‘Global’, activation of any smoke alarm that is interconnected with the base causes the relay to operate.
• The default setting is ‘Global’.
