Cause:

Resolution:
SOC means [Stand by output contactor].
You will need to check you OPL (Output Phase Loss) settings under [Complete settings] [Error/Warning handling] [Output phase loss].
Look at oAC settings - No detected error triggered, but management of the output voltage in order to avoid an over current when the link with the motor is reestablished and catch on the fly performed (even if this function has not been configured). The drive switches to [Output cut ]SOC state after [OutPhL Time] Odt time. Catch on fly is possible as soon as the drive is in stand by output cut [Output cut] SOC state.
If the value of ParamKW is different, then it is referring to any modification done on the configuration of the NOC (most likely in the DTM browser). If you do not see any changes in this section of the program, then no actual modification was done. For example, if the IP address of a device in the DTM browser is changed and then changed back to its original value, a time stamp will still exist, resulting in the ParamKW changing.
How can the motor operate above 60Hz in the ATV31 or ATV312 drives?
Product Line:
ATV31 ATV312
Environment:
All
Cause:
Changing high speed / max frequency
Resolution:
Parameter HSP determines the maximum speed the drive can operate. Parameter tFr determines the maximum value that HSP can be adjusted.
By default, tFr is set to 60Hz. When changing the Motor Frequency - bFr this changes tFr to 72Hz.
To increase the maximum speed above 72Hz - Go to the drc menu and Set parameter tFr. This can be adjusted up to 500Hz. After saving the change, go to the SEt menu > HSP and adjust up to the desired speed.
If your motor is a specialty motor that is rated for a frequency other than 50Hz. or 60Hz. such as a 300Hz. rated spindle motor, change parameter FrS under the DRC menu to match the rated frequency of the motor.

Cause:
Installation
Resolution:
We offer remote cable options up to 10 meters in length.
Please keep in mind we cannot recommend that the HMI will work with any cable above 10 meters.
We offer 4 cable options:
1 meter VW3A1104R10
3 meter VW3A1104R30
5 meter VW3A1104R50
10 meter VW3A1104R100
If you want to try running a longer cable, you can try using a standard CAT 5 type cable to connect between the remote HMI and the Drive. Some OEMs have ran cables up to 200 feet however they had to add an external power supply to compensate the long cable length ( See the attachment for OEM example of 200 ft cable run). We cannot recommend doing this, but we've been informed that it has been done.
Output filters vs Line reactors
Product Line:
Drives.
Environment:
N/A
Cause:
Product features.
Resolution:
No. Output filters and Line reactors are not the same thing. (Load reactor if applied to the output)
Filters reduce DV/DT at the motor by filtering high frequencies. This helps protect the motor.
Line reactors add impedance to the line. This reduces current distortion between the drive and motor if applied to the output. It reduces current distortion on the line when applied to the line side of the drive.
See the information for the specific device for additional details.

What are the feeder circuit requirements for an EV Charging station?
Product Line:
PTEVC - ELECTRICAL VEHICLE
Resolution:
The EVlink series of Level 2 charging station require a 40A, non-GFI type breaker for each charging outlet. #8 wire is required (L1, L2, and GND). For dual outlet charging stations, two 40A non-GFI breakers will be required (one for each charging outlet). A neutral connection is not required for EVlink stations.
A 40A circuit breaker is required as the continuous output current from the charging station can be as high as 30A.
The wiring diagram for a single outlet charging station is shown in the figure below.
What is the process for ordering a Masterpact NW or NT circuit breaker?
Product Line:
Circuit Breakers
Resolution:
Masterpact circuit breakers cannot be ordered by catalog number. A Schneider distributor or sales office must enter the order via the online product selector in My Schneider, SE Advantage, or Quote to Cash.
Information they need includes the certification standard (UL, ANSI, IEC), fixed or drawout, ampacity, AIR required, trip unit functions or type, accessories, connectors, and other customer specifications.
The attached decoder will assist in breaking down a catalog number to its component parts. With knowledge of the breaker's construction it will be possible to use the Q2C or SE Advantage product selector to select, quote, and order the breaker. DO NOT try to build a catalog number using the decoder. A number generated using the decoder will be prone to error due to possibly selecting components and features which are mutually exclusive, and the number will have no value for quotation or ordering even if valid.
Required information for placing an order can be found on the attached RFQ (Request for Quote) or RFQ - DC for DC rated Masterpacts.

Reset a fault on a Altivar drive.
Product Line:
Altivar ATV variable speed drives
Environment:
All
Cause:
Need to reset a fault status.
Resolution:
There are multiple ways to reset a fault, including a logic input assignment and communication network. But an easy way to reset a fault is to remove line voltage from L1,L2,L3. Allow enough time for the display to go completely blank and then wait another 30seconds. Reapply power. If the fault appears again, it means that the VFD has re-faulted.
Note: Some faults have to be reset by removing and reapplying line voltage (power-cycling) the drive. Refer to your drive's Programming Manual for a list of faults that require a power cycle to clear.
The following video demonstrates how to configure a logic input fault reset function on the Altivar 212:

Environment:
All serial numbers for Altivar 630 Process Drive
Cause:
N/A
Resolution:
This issue indicates the keypad is getting power from the drive but it is not communicating with it.
This almost always indicates the communication settings for the port are no longer at default.
- If SoMove or webserver connection is available, check the Modbus HMI baudrate and format. The keypad is fixed at 19200 baud are requires 8 bits, Even parity, 1 stop bit. Changes to the communication settings are only taken into effect after reset, so a power cycle may be required.
- If the keypad is remote mounted, and plugged into the HMI port on the front of the drive, move the connection cable to the Modbus network port since (as shown above) the default settings are compatible. If the keypad communicates, navigate to the Menu 6: Communication and then set the Modbus HMI baudrate to 19200 and the format to 8E1. After power cycling the drive, move the keypad back to it's original port.
- You might have a loose HMI or a remote cable. Try re-seating the HMI and remote cable.
- If you've confirmed baudrate and format are set properly and that power has been cycled to the drive, try a known good keypad.
- Make sure there is no control voltage drop or grounding issues.

How to set up stall function on the ATV630 Process drive?
Product Line:
Altivar 630
Environment:
All serial numbers
Cause:
Stall function
Resolution:
This function helps to prevent a motor overload by monitoring the motor current and the speed rise time.
A stalling condition is when:
An output frequency is smaller than the stalling frequency [Stall Frequency] StP3
And an output current is higher than the stalling current [Stall Current] StP2
During a time longer than the stalling time [Stall Max Time] StP1
That means that you must meet three conditions, then a stalling condition occurs, an [Motor Stall Error] StF error is triggered.
For example,
Set StP3=10HZ, StP2=100% (meaning rated motor current)
StP1=5s
When the drive is running at 9.9HZ, motor current is above rated motor current, then after 5S, an [Motor Stall Error] StF error is triggered.
If the drive is running at 10.1HZ, an StF error is not triggered.

ATV600 series Firmware < V1.5: The default User ID and password is: ADMIN
ATV600 drives with Firmware V1.5 or higher no longer support ADMIN as a default password. The password is now unique to the drive and has to be looked up in the webserver submenu 8.7.
ATV900 series implemented the password change beginning with V2.1.
ATV340 E implemented this change with V1.6.
NOTE: The password is not shown unless the drive has an IP address assigned (either through DHCP server or fixed IP settings).
The default User ID remains Admin (not case sensitive).
There has been an additional cyber security update to the drives that requires the default password to be changed on first connection via Ethernet (Webpage or SoMove).
This was implemented in V3.3 for ATV600/ATV900 and in V3.2 for ATV340 E.
This enhancement means you will be required to enter the default password (available on the keypad) and then will be required to enter a new password to access the drive.
Password policies can be modified using SoMove or from the Webserver.
It is possible to disable this cybersecurity function from the keypad or via SoMove/webserver but caution should be used before doing so, since this can compromise the security of the system.
SoMove connections via the Modbus port are not impacted.

The ATV900 series may be used in conjunction with a 3rd party input bridge from a company like Bonitron (Bonitron Solutions for Schneider Drives) .
