Issue:
How does ATV61 and ATV71 Ramp Divider (DCF) affect the deceleration time when Fast Stop function is used?

Product Line:
Altivar 61 and 71

Environment:
All models

Cause:
How to figure the resulting ramp time.

Resolution:
When using the Fast stop assignment to a logic input (FST = LIx) or as the Type of Stop (STT = FST), the Ramp divider (DCF) affects the normal DEC setting:

Fast stop ramp time = DEC / DCF

If DEC = 20sec and DCF = 2, then the fast stop ramp is 20 / 2 = 10sec
If DEC = 20sec and DCF = 4, then the fast stop ramp is 20 / 4 = 5sec

Note that DCF = 0 produces an abrupt stop.
